好快啊！上次约 Chuying 去 K Box 有准准一个月了！=D
It's been exactly one month since CY n I first met each other to go KBox.

Meeting with her was on 8 December 2008~ woots.

CY, before u read this, lemme say N.O. (No offence) 1st, lest u read sth u dun wana hear… ^^

Hmm, this is what i wrote in my diary at that time (half done).

Here goes~~ [today = that day]

Yoohoo, today finally met Chuying, my online friend (imeem, CR, MSN) to go kbox. Quite some time ago, we said we could find one day to go kbox, but i did not expect we will meet so fast. i've alrdy started holidays, but she has not. Well, today is a public holiday, so we decided to meet on this day.

It started like this... few days before 2dae Mon, at my CR group FF @ "CHAT HERE!", Lisa (orientalcind4rella) asked if I and CY knows each other in real life. I said, "No, but will meet soon." Then CY asked me if want to meet on Mon, I said yes~ So, we made plans - whose songs to sing, where n when, etc. The songs would of coz be Yu Zhong's, Mayday's, (I mention) JJ's too. She added Eason, Guang Liang, Xiao Jing Teng, SHE, and also Fahrenheit, plus random duet songs.. On Sat, our plan is to meet at Jurong East station at 11am. Great~ On Sun, i got online again, listening to ranks.. and CR. I did not online de until CR fren asked me to. Then CY began to talk to me too. She was doing project at her friend's house again, as much as I've guessed. We talked about 883 & 933 ranks, the songs...

Hours later, I then went to search for kbox website randomly (my hands just itchy to do it) cai found out tt JEEC de kbox relocated... ask us to go to nearest 1, which is Clementi. ~Wacko~ mood dampens.... I asked CY "so how?" She said let me decide, but then she only knows AMK de. So... ok lo, AMK... but i said then not too early. Ask me what time i can make it, but i could not decide. I began to search the different packages for kbox, and the mrt tracks and times. K Lunch 11am - 2pm. K Happy 2-7pm. for mrt... 17 stops from JE to AMK, then will take 51min frm BL to JE to AMK. I 4gt to count the time taken from home to BL. so i tot i only need to leave 1hr before our meeting time. i then told cy that "ok la, can meet at AMK station at 11am" without thinking much. so yay~ at least decided the place and time le. then realise i have to start setting off at 9.30am. while discussing with mum (think tt time i said do proj) wad time to wake me up.... aiyo, eat le then haf to wait then can get medicine. in e end decided to wake me up at 8am. And so... i slept at +- 11.30pm, b4 12am.

In the morning, ~cold~ after a while I kept tossing arnd the bed, “Achoo! x +-5”, oh dear! got a flu liao. ;( worse is that affect throat liao. How to sing!? hmmm, luckily after sneezing (onto tissue) back to normal, whew! B4 that got sms JiaYi =) Do the normal wash-up, getting ready, packing up… Fearing that I will be bored while on mrt, I brought foolscap, those MOB notes, thinking I will try to study and memorise more, a pen, and also Mayday’s lyrics book to memorise the lyrics.

摸到来, about 9.40am才出发, Mum still brought me to the bus-stop coz it was raining. oh dear, end of the jeans wet =( when on the bus, after settling down, I smsed CY informing her where I was, and what I was wearing (orange shirt, cover is yellow and brown jacket, jeans, grey and white bag. tie ponytail.), adding that I might be late. that time I smsed her was 9.53am. at about 10am, she smsed me “gd morning! ok, noted. might be late, waiting for bus”. then we exchanged one or two more SMSes. so continue e journey… mrt – BL to JE – no place to sit. I think many eyes on me, coz of my skin problem – the big black (or dark brown) patch on the back of my neck. ;(

When reached JE, the middle train is alrdy there. Eh…… is the door opening or not!? 又进又退… after some time, heard over the PA system that the middles train is not for passenger service. ooh ok. So I退后了… then when door opened, the ppl waiting went inside nevertheless. 我犹豫了一下, also stepped in. without few seconds, had to go out again. (Ahhh! Stupid me! 好丢脸哦~ 谁叫我是sheep…… -_-)

During that time, JiaYi began to sms me and while waiting and in the train, communicated with her thru few smses. ohya! also had to stand, ahhh leg pain… looks like wasted bringing the things.

at 10.44am, CY smsed me telling me she had reached and that she was near the passenger service. I replied, “Oo, ttz early. I’m only at Kranji. Duno still got how many stops. … …” She said I still got ard 7 stops, etc. then exchanged few more smses, I also got sms JiaYi… hmmm, also felt somehow slpy, closed eyes… at YCK, felt a little nervous – took out bottle to take a sip of water. =D At AMK, alighted frm the mrt and while walking down the stairs, drank water again again, 又 nervous 又不知不觉在自己笑… So tap card…

omg quite a lot of ppl, I duno exactly who or how I shld look out for, though know she said she’s wearing. CY then forwarded herself. Then I said Li Hui. =D Didn’t talk much, we moved out from there. I duno which way to go, so juz followed her. She mentioned that she juz now saw someone with the exactly the same as how I described, but it was a guy, so scare her. well, I think I laughed till v 夸张. buhaha xD Ya, standing bside her, I seemed very short. she seemed to have forgotten which way to go to the kbox. we went down the escalator (she said surely go down first), then found out it was the wrong way. So up we go again~~ then up another lvl again. she looked left and right, duno which direction next. then we walked right. she said she still had little impression, last time she came was last year March. hmmmm >< I duno how far we had to go but I kept trying to find sth to say. mostly she only exchanged a few words or sentences.

Finally we came to an end and at the next building is the K Box sign on the outside. CY made a “peace” sign and said Yeah, meaning that yay, we have found it. we had to cross over a short distance (no shelter). CY asked me if want to 淋雨 ornot. when she asked for the 2nd time, I shot out, “aiya~　淋雨中 >“林宇中”=D After crossing , we reached McDonald’s and a coffee shop. Hmmm, I still duno where… then CY stopped and clicked a lift button. OOH~ 8) She said 2nd lvl so I pressed ‘2’, then she said hao xiang 3rd lvl. oh lol~ when door opened for lvl 2, it’s selling furnitiure de. inside the lift, I sdnly asked if she live in Yishun since young. She said yes, then I said “我也是”. -_-

Reached 3rd lvl, omg a lot of ppl! n omg, 男女老少！Most surprised is the 老的, lol. Ahhh meanwhile duno haf to wait for how long, nth to talk too. *awkward* Then looks around the posters, etc., fidgeting… many a times I looked at her, she smiled back. oh lol~ *wait, wait, wait* Queue getting shorter of coz, coz ppl entered the karaoke rooms in crowds.

Yay, finally our turn! The person on a phone call, so waited for another while. wow, in front of the desk, got FLH concert thingy <_< (oh ya, earlier while queuing up, I was trying very hard to see what was written in front of the wall – on the new songs in kbox~ only managed to see a few words, not all. Then on the left, got a TV, showing 海角7号… Then also saw 张宇’s 《伞下》MV. wow on the front, the paper shows new song, hmmm. think this song out quite long ago le bah..)

CY did the talking… “IC”, giving the person copy down the NRIC, say “2 persons”, give the hp. no. etc. My hand was in my bag, trying to find my coin purse, in case need to pay sth 1st. Erm, no need… N so our room is room 13. =) I walked in front, CY behind… I juz followed the small signs, in front, then right. At the end was room 12. turn right was alrdy 30sth, ouch, lost~ in a while, someone came running towards us, and led us to R13, which was on the left side. wow, how unnoticeable~

Yippee, finally in K room~ The person on sth, brought out the 2 microphones, asked what we wanted to order, but she said duno what was our package, then went away to check. We kinda duno what to press on the remote control 1st, CY said relax 1st… The first song it automatically

The first song it automatically … plays is 魔术先生 (or is it 乔克叔叔? o.O ) of coz we didn’t see this. I was thinking, if it was my bro, he sure will sing, haha~ after a while, I clicked on Menu, and chose 新歌 (new songs), 1st on the list is 醉赤壁 (zui chi bi by JJ), so I clicked it, of coz~ 2nd on the list is 安静了 (an jing le by SHE), I chose it too~ *For the other new songs, I’ve alrdy forgotten what we chose and the order of them…*

The staff came in and asked what drinks and meals we want. *opps, I forgot if it’s separate or ask tgt* for drinks, we both ordered ice lemon tea. for the meal, both of us chose curry chicken. CY made the choice 1st, I said the same thing, coz I didn’t hear clearly what e other choices the staff said.
oh ya, e buttons on the remote control are so difficult to press! nth happens when they are been pressed. CY said she want to complain when the staff comes in later, but she didn’t. buhaha. xD when the drinks and meals arrived, we did not start eating immediately. hmmm, also I think actually I think I cannot eat de, coz of skin prob. oh well…

hmmm b4 we started singing, I said 我唱歌很难听的lair. CY said dun worry, 我不是XXX (音乐老师) *I 4gt the name*, 我不会批评, I then laughed~ some time later / immediately, CY said sth *I 4gt wad thing*, I laughed too, then she said “哈，这样也要笑!?” I said, duno leh, I like to laugh at everything…

and so as I’ve said, the 1st song is 醉赤壁 (zui chi bi)… CY didn’t sing along with me. she said she still not familiar yet, I think… this style of song…, I sure sing v weirdly, lol. *what else to say? Hm.*

for SHE+FLH de 酸甜 (suan tian), we only sing half of it, coz we not really familiar with it, esp CY. hmmm. I felt weird when singing too. so I asked if wana skip it. so ok lo, sing halfway press next…

of coz we chose Rynn’s songs v soon. CY picked those on the front pages, until some on the 2nd page. she said “够多了~”lol, I guess so, though I wana sing more! when singing 远远, I could feel some energy. Shiok~ LOL. when singing 抢玫瑰 (qiang mei gui), I take JJ, n cy take Rynn for 1st verse~ *if I rmb correctly*, then for the rest of e songs, opposite “roles”… when sing 干物女, CY mention about always getting jealous of the female in the MV, haha~ ya lo @_@ CY:“宇中超帅的啦！”when sing 瓶盖, if I rmb correctly, we mentioned about who is the female in the MV, hmmm duno. well, I duno y I see as Genie Zhuo, lol. when sing 复活, I sing male, cy sings female. lol, when tgt, my voice automatically bcum female de, n cy more low le. buhaha. overall ok la. omg, 旋律de starting real low!!~ ahem. hmmm, I asked cy if 《旋律》还是《苍蝇的泪滴》的女主角比较美~ *I 4gt CY’s ans* hmm, I guess those are my opinions when singing Rynn’s songs~

hmm, we ate a little in between some songs…

when the MVs are at the ending alrdy, I pressed next so can sing more……
when singing 不要说话 (by Eason Chan), weird leh. sdnly bcum duno how to sing e song… some keys sing wrongly. brrrr.
when singing 别说 (Nicky Lee), nearly all I sing wrongly, coz not v familiar with it. when verse, didn’t sing bah.
when singing 小酒窝 (JJ＆A-Sa), also quite weird too. I always at home sing de sound better. weirdaa~~
2 songs which I think are most difficult to sing bcoz of its 高音: Missing You (Van, Fan Yi Chen) && 需要你的爱 (Faye/FIR & Xin), esp the 1st one. 都唱不上去了！yew~~~
b4 singing 还是好朋友 (Gu Ju Ji & Fish Leong), CY asked me if want to be the ‘鸡’还是‘鱼’. rofl, I juz kept laughing. … finally I replied be the ‘chicken’, male lo. buhaha. eh, think this song also got sing wrongly…
when singing 说好的幸福呢 (Jay), we 2 lik feel v diffi to “pull” the words. CY said Jay 不是人, the 气 so long, 一口气唱完整句!!!!

Now to talk about MAYDAY’s songs~ we chose the most no. of songs, n also got the HIGHEST de (sing e loudest with most energy)! we actually went thru all e pages of their songs! lol. hmmm, all e new songs are A MUST! we also chose their old songs, of coz. OMG, 好HIGH 哦！(not really……?) Haha~
For the 2 合唱曲：走火入魔 & 私奔到月球, 我当阿信… CY, sorry wor~ hmmm i know female parts really v diffi to sing. >< hmmm. opps, for私奔到月球, there is one special part (duno how to describe), but we didn’t say hao who sing wad.. but in e end, whew, just nice.

For 恋爱ING, we paused halfway to finish that meal… after I’ve finished eating, rest a while, cy then say ask me to continue singing 1st. hmmm. oh ya, duno when… a staff came in n ask if wan to order anything else. well, I said dun wan. (seemed deaf, didn’t think clearly at tt time)
For 温柔, I sang alone, coz CY went to toilet xD she missed only this song. during the time, I went to choose some songs.
for me, I went to toilet when itz singing 生命有一种绝对, well think coz I think this song quite soft, not really nice to K. at 1st nearly ask to skip the song, then ohya hor, go toilet la.

hmmm when I come back, gang qiao the next song starting – 记得爱 (Real & Nicky) . hmm, think I maybe have missed diao 1 or 2 songs in btwn bah!~ when go to e toilet, I got ask for direction de. duno itz outside… e person oso didn’t say it clearly, so I juz try walking. hmmmm. when went back, whew, rmb the directions.

hmmm, throughout while im inside the room, I think I only didn’t sing one song which is 歌。颂 by Eason~ coz duno how to sing. yay, CY solo!!!~ woots~

WAHH!!! very cold!! legs kept trembling throughout! after the toilet trip, worse! =.= but doesn’t affect my singing.

We sang until about 2.45pm, woo, extra 45min. But we got cut by 1 song. when the songs chosen are about to end, I then pressed for JJ’s songs, finding 被风吹过的夏天. ok, found it at the last page. then asked CY what else she wanted. she said dun wan sing le. oh sighs. but when next song, it doesn’t play it, n plays Kelly Pan’s song. hmmm duno how to sing. then thinking, eh? what happened. try choosing another song – Jam Hsiao – 疼爱~ doesn’t play it too. then click on the remote control, showing the songs we have chosen. oh buhaha, it showed that it has received an order to stop playing. oh sighs. 然后就舍不得地离开~~~

oh ya, 4gt to say that e person had come n collected our money some time b4. weee, “only” $12.40. *I said only coz e previous 2 times, I spent more than $17. thinking, ooh, K Lunch quite worth.* so total is $24.80. if I rmb correctly, I took out $12 bah. then CY took out $20. me stupid! handed in all $32 to e person. grrrr, I always lik this! hmmm then handed the $2 to CY. … opps! this means I actually pay few cents lesser. opps! sry, CY! =$

hmmm we headed straight back to the mrt station~ she alighted at Yishun, saw her 背影as she went down the escalator. =D b4 she left, I said 有空再见~ then I continued my journey~ A while after I reached home, I watched YLBFB, also got sms CY saying “whew, safely got back at home. mum didn’t suspect a thing. ur singing not bad ah. thanks for the day, enjoyed the kbox session.” sth like this. she then replied, “glad that u are safely home. thanks for the compliment. glad u enjoyed.” sth like this. well, think I didn’t reply le, but thinking, eh? doesn’t mean she didn’t enjoy bah!? hmmmm~

eh think thatz about it about e kbox session~ quite fun~ =)

wah, thru this meeting, CY 给我的感觉... 跟在网上好不一样喔！on the net, she’s humorous. but real person is so quiet~ haha, same as me… she said 第一次见面嘛，难免会这样的~ yeah, true =D
weeeeee, 1st time meeting online fren =D 也很成功喔~ lols.

after that day, we of coz continued to communicate on the net, sometimes sms each other too. =)
