always wana spot these ads on tv. evytime stare at Rynn. and evytime scared he will disappear, as in sdnly saying he's not coming. fear la, from past experiences these few yrs. hahah. also got see JJ in e ads la, both ads have 1 or 2 lines of his songs, namely 江南 & 小酒窝. (unfair lol)

洪俊扬，石欣卉, 阿杜, 蔡淳佳, etc. are newly added in e attending list de. yay can see more ppl le, i mean e 2 males, Ado & Junyang. at 1st only, Rynn, JJ & By2 to see. well, e rest all duno (most) or dun care de. thatz y not worth to buy e concert tix lo. it's a different matter if given free. hahaha!!

i at 1st dun wana participate de, sure no chance de mahs. then duno y sdnly feel lik joining, jus for fun bahs. hahaha!
e competition started on 10 June, e date they posted on their wall (see below, OBuddy FB wall posts - 1st one). i know abt it only on 12 June night. so that day no time to rly take photo n post le. then 13th & 14th working, so also no time to do so. on the 15th then there's time~ mum helped me de, i oso duno y she wana help lols. oh well, oso use her hp to take de, coz mine is extremely bad. n coz we dun haf digital camera =.="

At 1st not sure if 'we' have to be in the photo, the instruction is "upload a photo of yourself with anything in connection to Ocean Butterflies". i dun wan me to be in! (actually one of my frens participated le, she used our group photo taken while waiting for JJ Party 4, so i saw myself among e entries le. lol paiseh~) but to be safe, cfmed with Obuddy 1st, ok no need phew~ Things in connection to OB arhs, i only have Rynn Lim & JJ Lin stuff~ put both of them de things bah, can ask both sides de fans to help me 'like' e photo. hahaha. smart bah! 8)

Took many diff "versions". arrangement of the things were diff. then took many photos for each arrangement. whatever, duno how to explain la. hahah i not rly gt heart to take these de, keep telling mum ok le la, enough. 反正 get most likes for e photo can win le mah. e more photos there are, e more i cant decide which photo to choose to enter! although said that get most likes can win le. lol contradicting. rly so, coz i rly took quite a long time to finally decide which one!

actually doesnt rly matter which one chosen, as explained earlier. but still wana choose e best-looking to me one. lol.
it's said that e photos will be up on the website after they are moderated. but idk y mine appeared immediately. (but i think gt a bit prob coz my photo doesnt enlarge in my link, so maybe not rly up yet)

was surprised when Joanne told me that she saw mine alr n that she's the 1st person who helped me 'like'. hahaha, she took part as well, her entry up 1 day before me. we agreed that, if she win, e other tix for me, n if i win, e other tix for her (since 1 pair given out) hahaha. but slowly we realised both of us no chance le, e other entries de likes are much stronger, esp our fren Huiyi's. so we didnt rly ask ppl to help vote for our own photos le. and soon, i changed "target" le. began to combine forces with HY, since she is leading all e way (see below, OBuddy FB wall posts 2nd & 3rd one), most likely to be e winner. LOL im bad huh. =X so i asked my frens to help 'like' hers de liao. only sometimes mentioned mine, which had no chance at all liao.

e above links uh, at 1st i can access de, duno y sdnly cannot liao. zzz. i cant see who helped me like e photos le. only can monitor e number of likes thru OBuddy fb tab. so if ppl lie to me that they hv liked but they didnt, i oso duno!

hmms although HY's leading all e way, but still scared e others will catch up, esp the next 2. more scary as e deadline got nearer. at e last 1 or 2 days or so, e originally 3rd person (photo of 2 JJ concert tix) caught up with the originally 2nd person (photo of JJ albums) le. ended up e one with concert tix de photo became our enemy, e likes still increasing in the last few hrs from e deadline (19 June, 2359hrs) n even e last 1h. lol that last hr rly passed by v slowly, so scary!! i alr did my best to ask ppl to vote! my 人缘 quite bad 1 mahs, lik ask oso no use de. some rly didnt respond. hmms duno how many votes of e total votes come from my frens sia. but surely most are of HY's frens.

when it was finally 11.59pm, hurray~ we won le!! woohoo! only can hope the OBuddy fb admin did see it at that time =.= they 20 June 12.16am (17 mins after e deadline) then posted (see below, OBuddy FB wall posts 5th one).
hahaha ok we officially won! woots! counting 20th, 6 days to e concert on 25 June~
my next worry is HY sdnly dun wana give me e other tix. LOL!! okok la. hahah lucky at last she didnt~ ^^

"我们的歌在这里"，在今天看来，这话是如此理所当然。然而，曾几何时，在不算太久远的 80年代，我们试着回想一下，那是个什么样的年代…

当时，电脑还不普及，地铁尚在规划中，没有互联网，没有电邮，没有 Facebook，没有手机，没有 SMS，没有 Starbucks，没有 CD光碟，没有 mp3…所幸的是，我们有梦。

海蝶逐梦的故事，就这样开始了……
此时此刻，我们要趁着这个值得纪念的日子，向所有在这一路上并肩结伴的伙伴好友们致意与致敬！让我们一起来回顾这段新加坡人的集体记忆...

For whom we have met, worked with and helped us along the way. In celebration of friendships we have forged these 25 years.

Featuring the best homegrown artistes from the 80’s to date, “These Are Our Songs” concert marks the 25th anniversary of Ocean Butterflies Music, a homegrown music label that has successfully brought the Singapore music movement, Xin Yao, all over the world. More notably, Ocean Butterflies Music is also the force behind the international success of homegrown artistes such as Kit Chan, A-Do, JJ Lin and By2.

The 25-year mark is a significant milestone, not just for Ocean Butterflies Music, but also for Singapore music and how it has gained colossal foothold in Asia’s music industry. With “These Are Our Songs” concert, you can collectively enjoy familiar tunes and faces from the Xin Yao era to today’s biggest MandoPop hits, and expect some never before collaborations on stage!
